Charges have been filed against one of three residents who escaped from George Junior Republic late last week.
The Mercer State Police say that around 4:30pm on Friday, three males escaped from the facility, prompting a search by staff, State Police, and two local police departments. All three residents were found several hours after their escape.
After their investigation, authorities charged 18-year-old Austin Dimoff of Grove City with escape, among other charges, and placed him in the Mercer County Jail. It is unclear if the other two residents will face any charges.
