Gas prices in western Pennsylvania have once again moved slightly lower in the past week.
According to AAA’s weekly gas price report, the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in Butler, as of Monday, is $2.68 per gallon which is the same as it was the last two weeks.
Prices are also about two cents cheaper across western Pennsylvania as a whole this week, averaging $2.78 per gallon. The cheapest gas in the area can be found in Sharon at $2.56 per gallon, while the most expensive is $2.94 in Bradford.
The average national gas price increased by one cent to $2.61 according to AAA. Crude oil prices increased continued to rise last week with continued optimism that the U.S. and China could resolve ongoing trade tensions later this month.
