For the first time in months, area gas prices have fallen over the last week.
According to AAA, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in western Pennsylvania is down two cents to $2.58. The average price in Butler is a bit higher at $2.62.
The average price during this week last year was $2.95.
AAA says gasoline demand remains on track to set a new all-time high for the 2016 summer driving season.
