After a jump in prices last week, drivers are seeing a drop at the pump this week.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of unleaded self-serve in Butler is $3.44. That’s a nickel cheaper compared to last week and nearly six cents cheaper than the average price in Western PA.
However the national average for a gallon of gas is going up and AAA says the culprit is the rising price for oil. Right now, it’s around $85 per barrel, nearly $20 more than in November.
