The price at the pump is going down locally.
According to AAA’s weekly gas report, the average price for a gallon of unleaded self-serve in Butler is now $3.46—which is down four cents compared to last week.
However, the relief may only be temporary as a fire at a plant in Texas may lead to a supply issue causing the rise in price.
As we close out the year though, we are paying nearly a dollar more on average for a gallon of gas compared to the end of 2021.
