Area gas prices have dropped again this week.
AAA East Central says the average price of a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in Western Pennsylvania dropped two cents to $2.39.
The average price in Butler for a gallon of gas is also $2.39.
Prices were over a dollar more on this date last year (in 2014), with gas costing $3.44 per gallon.
