Area gas prices have continued to fall over the last few weeks.
The average price of a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in Western Pennsylvania is $2.82, according to AAA. That’s down a nickel since last week.
Prices in Butler are right on par with the regional price…also at an average of $2.82.
AAA said drivers in our area were paying almost a dollar more per gallon during this week last year. The average price then was $3.72.
