Gas prices are continuing to tick upwards.
AAA says the average price of a gallon of gas in western Pennsylvania is up two cents this week to $2.55, which is 20 cents higher than the national average at $2.35.
The average price in Butler County is $2.58.
Despite continual increases for weeks, drivers are still paying less than they were at this time last year. The average price in the region during this week in 2015 was $2.91.
