Gas prices in western Pennsylvania have continued to drop over the past week.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in Butler is $2.73 per gallon.
That’s a nine cent drop from last week’s average price in Butler.
The national gas price average is holding steady at $2.65 which is about nine cents more expensive than last month but 26 cents cheaper than one year ago.
Continued trade tensions between the United States and China could reduce crude oil prices further on worries that demand will also decline.
