Following a performance, of “Friends in Low Places”, at a show in California, Garth Brooks stopped his concert to acknowledge a venue employee that was retiring. After making the announcement to the audience, he invited the retiree, to come up on stage. Bob Brown said he was so shocked when Garth started talking to him in front of 13, 000 people, that his legs felt like jelly!
After congratulating him on 40 years of work, Garth then took the guitar he’d been playing, signed it and gave it to him. Definitely a retirement party one fan will never forget!
