An educational series about gardening and outdoor activities continues this week at the South Butler Community Library.
The next installment of the Backyard Learning Master Gardeners Speaker Series will take place Thursday at 6 p.m.
The evening will feature a Master Gardener leading a discussion about vegetable gardening including planning, soil preparation, choosing plants, and basic garden maintenance.
The presentation is free and no registration is required. This series will continue in June and July covering topics such as native plants and pollinator gardens.
