Construction on the new Centre City parking garage in downtown Butler is progressing ahead of schedule.
Butler City Council heard an update on the project from the construction manager Tuesday.
Due to the mild weather so far, nearly all of the footings and piers have been set. Plans for next week include the setting of concrete beams.
The steel for the garage has been ordered and is expected to be installed into place in February or March.
Estimated date of completion is still early fall as was originally planned.
