Construction on the new Centre City Parking Garage in downtown Butler is continuing and drivers could experience some delays beginning Monday.
Steel beams are scheduled to begin going into the four-story structure, which could disrupt traffic on East Cunningham, South McKean and East Jefferson streets. The beam work should be completed by early May.
At the last public update on the project in March, city officials said construction was on schedule and about $50,000 under budget.
The parking garage is part of a downtown Centre City Project that also includes a hotel and already-constructed Rite Aid.
