The Pennsylvania Game Commission has added 24 new wardens to their ranks including a local man stationed here in Butler County.
Freeport native Jacob Babilon completed 44 weeks of training beginning in March of last year as part of the 33rd class of the Commission’s Ross Leffler School of Conservation.
Babilon earned distinction as fitness award winner for maintaining the highest standard of physical fitness during the training program.
Nearly 200 instructors and field training officers contributed to guide this year’s School of Conservation class at the Harrisburg headquarters of the Game Commission.
