The Pennsylvania Game Commission will hold their annual Waterfowl Briefing later this week and the public is invited to attend.
Hunters and members of wildlife organizations will have a chance to participate in a discussion about the proposed 2024-25 waterfowl hunting seasons and proposed regulations as well as a question and answer session.
Game Commission staff has made one change recommendation this year to reduce the Atlantic Population Canada Goose season from 45 to 30 days. This information has been posted to the Game Commission’s website and can be viewed before the briefing begins.
This briefing will stream live on the agency’s Facebook page on Thursday at 1 p.m. but will also be recorded and a link will be posted to the game commission website. Public comment on the proposed seasons will be accepted through March 22nd.
