The Pennsylvania Game Commission has approved the 2020-2021 hunting and trapping seasons with a notable first in state history.
According to Game Commission Executive Director Bryan Burhans, the upcoming hunting season will include the state’s first ever Sunday hunting opportunities.
Sunday, November 15th will be available for archery deer hunting. Bear firearms hunters will be able to go out on Sunday, November 22nd. Finally, firearms deer hunting will be permitted on Sunday, November 29th.
Statewide archery deer season has been extended until November 20th. The upcoming hunting season will also include another Saturday rifle deer opener on November 28th. Pheasant hunting will be permitted statewide outside of Wild Pheasant Recovery Areas.
