A new report from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board shows that it was a record-setting year for casinos and sportsbooks.
The last fiscal year saw $5.89 billion in overall gaming revenue, which resulted in $2.54 billion in tax revenue for the state.
The gaming board says the industry did support nearly 16,000 jobs at casinos in the state.
