A local organization has a couple of important fundraisers coming up starting with a delicious event this weekend. There have been discussions about how to make fundraisers like this reach more people in the future so that there is further money raised. Luckily online fundraisers are becoming a positive way of doing this, meaning that people from all over can donate and help causes like the ones they are doing here. We hope these upcoming fundraisers can raise the money needed to make the intended impact for the community health clinic.
According to Kim Reamer, C.O.O. of the Community Health Clinic of Butler County, “We’ll be showcasing five local restaurants, The Batch, the Hotel Saxonburg, the Pines Tavern, the Butler Country Club will do the main course, then the Chop Shop, and Dolce Mia. There are different kinds of wine to coincide with the different appetizers and main course.”
Signature Sensations will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Country Club.
A second fundraising event for the clinic will take place next month at Succop Theater on the campus on Butler County Community College. Director of Development Jim Cunningham.
“It’s called the Music For Medicine Christmas Concert This year again, we will be featuring the TMG Big Band also known as the Trinity Jazz Orchestra. It’s a tremendously festive evening. We’re planning on having Santa Claus show up again. People will be able to buy Christmas chocolates; baskets will be raffled off.”
The Community Health Clinic receives no federal funding and relies on grants and donations to help people in our area who cannot afford care. For tickets to either event, visit butlerhealthclinic.org.
