David Bradshaw defended his Frank B. Fuhrer Invitational championship in thrilling fashion Wednesday. Bradshaw entered the day one stroke behind leader Michael Gligic, but the two tied at the end of regulation at -8 under par and went through a three-hole playoff tied. That forced a sudden-death hole on the par-3, 208-yard 18th hole at the Pittsburgh Field Club in Fox Chapel, and Bradshaw won the Fuhrer event for the third time when he sunk his tee shot for a hole-in-one. He won $40,000 with the victory.
