A man from Georgia was arrested on I-80 earlier this week.
According to the police report, 53-year-old Jimmy Flournoy of Powder Springs, Georgia was pulled over by police on I-80 in East Lackawannock Twp. for having dark tinted windows and no registration displayed on the rear of his 2004 Freightliner. After obtaining Flournoy’s license it was discovered he was wanted in Georgia for failure to appear in court on charges of sexual battery and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree sexual battery in Clayton County, GA.
Clayton County was contacted and confirmed they would extradite Flournoy back to Georgia to face those charges. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail pending extradition.
