Police are investigating the death of a Freeport woman.
According to the Kittanning Barracks of the State Police, 40-year-old Nicole George was found unresponsive on High Street early Tuesday morning (7/12).
Alcohol and prescription drugs are believed to be a contributing factor.
Police are waiting for the results of an autopsy and toxicology tests.
The Armstrong County Coroner’s Office and Freeport Ambulance are assisting with the investigation into this death.
