The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3 Sunday thanks to a walk-off single by Adam Frazier in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Pirates took two of three games in the series with the Cardinals, both wins were dramatic walk-off victories. Third baseman Max Moroff hit his first major league home run in the game.
The Pirates host the first-place Milwaukee Brewers in a four-game series beginning tonight at PNC Park. First pitch is 7:05pm. Pre-game is 6:40pm on WISR 680am. Chad Kuhl will start for the Bucs tonight.
The Pirates will begin the night four games under .500 at 44-48 overall. They are seven behind the Brewers and eight games out of a Wild Card spot.
