Traffic was backed up Monday afternoon as a result of an accident with injuries in Forward Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 2:30 p.m. for a two vehicle crash in the 500 block of Prospect Road.
Crews from Evans City and Callery were among those responding to find an extended accident scene and at least one person in need of treatment. The conditions of those involved are unknown at this time.
Motorists in that area experienced delays until the scene was cleared.
