A former Butler County real estate agent and his wife are due in federal court next week on bankruptcy fraud charges.
Gregory and Maria Makozy, formerly of Cranberry Township and now of Florida, were arrested last week (August 25) after authorities say they bought their $350,000 Florida home using assets they hid from bankruptcy court.
Gregory Makozy is the previous owner of A1 Mortgage in Cranberry and the current owner of Makozy Real Estate in Florida.
They are both free on bonds and scheduled to appear in a Pittsburgh courtroom on September 8.
