A former Chief Clerk of Butler County has passed away.
73-year-old William Patterson, Senior, of Mars died Thursday morning at his home.
Patterson also previously worked in Harrisburg as the Director of the Bureau of Human Resources in the Department of Human Resources for the Thornburg administration. Later he worked for the Area Agency on Aging and was the Court Administrator for Butler County.
