A former Butler County resident is accused of killing another man, and them himself, in Tennessee last week.
The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department says 47-year-old Sonny Coulter fatally wounded a man who was involved in a relationship with Coulter’s ex-girlfriend, who is also the mother of his two children, during an incident on Thursday.
Officers were called to Coulter’s residence in Nashville after Coulter allegedly told a neighbor that he had killed someone. Coulter’s ex-girlfriend also called police after Coulter contacted her via Facetime and the other man’s body was allegedly visible on the ground.
Coulter told the woman he was not going to prison and he committed suicide by firearm as officers arrived on the scene.
Coulter was a former resident of Boyers, Marion Township, as well as California.
