A well-known political figure in Western PA has died.
Jim Roddey passed away this week at the age of 91.
Roddey served as the first county executive in Allegheny County from 1999 to 2004.
He also was a prominent businessman and Marine Corps veteran.
Roddey was also a close friend of St. Barnabas Health System, serving a special assistant to the organization.
