A Butler City property vacant for over six years will soon be the location of a new business.
City officials confirmed to our newsroom that the former 7-11 at the corner of Hansen Avenue and Fairground Hill Road was granted a building permit last month to become a Tobacco Hut.
This retail use is permitted for the site as crews are working on some minor interior modifications along with signage.
One completed, a final inspection will be conducted and an occupancy permit will be issued.
