Butler County including-downtown Butler- will be the site of a unique convention this summer.
A representative from the Western PA Model-T Ford Club informed Butler City Council during a meeting on Tuesday of the 62nd annual Model-T convention planned for July 15-20 in Butler.
The convention will be based at the Marriott in Cranberry Township but thousands of people, and over 200 Model-T vehicles, are expected to take a series of trips during the convention including one to Butler County Ford. This local dealership just celebrated 100 years in business last year.
A portion of South Main and Wayne streets downtown are expected to be shut down for about four hours during the convention’s visit.
