Ford has announced they are bringing the Mustang model to Nascar’s top series for the first time in manufacturer history in 2019. The American automaker will replace the Fusion in the Monster Energy Cup in February at Daytona. Chevrolet brought the Camaro to the top series this year. Ford has run the Mustang in the X-finity Series since 2011. Global demand for the new 2018 model has made the Mustang the best-selling sports coupe for the third consecutive year.
