Tickets are still available for a delicious fundraiser this weekend to benefit the Community Health Clinic of Butler County.
WQED cooking show host Chris Fennimore will emcee the upcoming Signature Sensations evening.
“The great benefit of this event is that after they’ve got your salivary glands going on overdrive, you get to actually taste that food that they have so carefully and passionately prepared,” Fennimore said.
The 3rd annual event is scheduled for this Saturday (11/7) from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Butler Country Club. Local chefs and restaurants will have the chance to spotlight unique dishes during a multi-course meal.
This event is important for the Community Health Clinic to be able to continue their mission of providing free health care to those in our area who might otherwise fall through the cracks.
Event Chair Gail Paserba discusses what this fundraiser means for the clinic.
“This is a strictly donation based organization,” Paserba said. “There is absolutely no government funding of any kind so we have to take the money out of our own pockets to support this and we need this in our community.”
The evening will also include numerous vendors and auctions.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at butlerhealthclinic.org or at May’s Music Shoppe.
