The amount of flu cases across the state is significantly increasing according to state officials.
The latest numbers from the Department of Health show that there has been nearly 7,000 cases of the flu confirmed in the state.
Health officials say that the percentage of flu-related outpatient visits has exceeded the state epidemic threshold.
Although experts encouraged getting a flu-shot by the end of October, they still urge people who haven’t, to get one as soon as possible.
