Florida Georgia Line charts their career eighth Number One hit this week with “Anything Goes.” The song claims the top spot on the Mediabase chart. The song is the title track from the duo’s gold-certified Anything Goes album, which has produced three previous consecutive Number One hits with “Sippin’ On Fire,” “Sun Daze” and “Dirt.”
Florida Georgia Line will debut a new song called “Confession” during tomorrow night’s (Wednesday, October 4th) CMA Awards, airing live from Nashville on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
The music video for “Confession” will also premiere on Wednesday exclusively on CMT immediately following their CMA Awards performance, with wide release across VEVO and other digital partners on Friday (November 6th). Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley were filmed separately at Neuhoff, a vintage slaughterhouse from the 1900s in Nashville, before intermixing their intricate solo performances.
Brian said, “’Confession’ is one of my favorite songs off the album . . . and man, that hook. Tyler and I have enjoyed a lot of special moments personally and professionally over the last couple of years so we really relate to getting in your truck, driving and thinking about where you want to be. A lot of power can come from confessing things.”
Tyler added, “It’s a crazy ride we’ve been on and this song really hit home. In the middle of celebrations and successes, we have to remind ourselves that we’ve been blessed to be on this journey. ‘Confession’ makes you pause and think for sure.”
Florida Georgia Line is also nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at the CMA Awards.
