It was a soggy morning commute for drivers, and the rain is not expected to relent for most of the day.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Butler County. They say multiple rounds of showers and stronger thunderstorms are expected throughout the afternoon and evening.
That could result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying or flood prone areas.
Overall, the National Weather service is projecting one to three inches of rain over the next 24 hours.
The flood warning runs until 8 p.m. tonight.
