President Donald Trump travels to Somerset County today to mark 17 years since the terrorist attacks on this date in 2001.
The Tower of Voices is a 93-foot tall concrete tower adorned with wind chimes-one for each of the passengers and crew members killed in the crash of United Flight 93.
Architect Paul Murdoch says it’s designed to create a visceral experience for those to see it. Murdoch says he’s been working closely on with families of the victims, the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation on the memorial, which was officially dedicated over the weekend.
