A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Butler County through late Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, showers and storms capable of excessive heavy rain are expected Friday morning and into Friday night.
System totals of 1 to 2 inches of rain can be expected, with some isolated higher totals possible, according to the NWS. Flash flooding is possible and a concern.
The precipitation should wrap up by Saturday morning, and lead way to a dry Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
