First Niagara Bank branches will close early on Friday as the company makes the transition to KeyBank.
Most banking services will be suspended beginning 3 p.m. Friday until Tuesday as customer accounts are converted. Online, mobile and telephone banking will be unavailable over the three-day holiday weekend. Monday is Columbus Day so most banks will already be closed. All systems should be up and running by 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The change follows Cleveland-based KeyCorp’s purchase of Buffalo, New York-based First Niagara in July.
There is a First Niagara branch on Center Avenue in Butler City, two branches in Cranberry Township and one in Gibsonia.
