Multiple crews were called out to battle a vehicle fire near structures in northern Butler County Monday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 2:30 p.m. for a camper on fire near a couple garages in the 300 block of Boyers Road in Mercer Township.
Emergency responders from Marion Township, Eau Claire, Slippery Rock, and Harrisville arrived to find a couple of propane tanks on the camper and some flames spreading into nearby woods.
Firefighters were able to get the situation under control in about a half hour. The cause and extent of damage are both unknown at this time.
