Multiple fire departments have been called to the scene of a structure fire in Franklin Township Thursday afternoon.
The call came in to the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 3 p.m. for a fire in the 800 block of New Castle Road.
Crews from Prospect, Unionville, and Butler Township were dispatched to the scene to find a two story commercial structure with smoke showing. The building was reportedly evacuated.
The cause of that fire and extent of damage is unknown at this time.
