One person was seriously hurt in an ATV crash Sunday afternoon in Eau Claire.
A woman was riding the ATV with a child on the back in an area called Maple Furnace when the quad fell over a hillside and rolled several times, sources say.
The crash happened at least two miles back into the woods so it was extremely difficult for first responders to reach the woman.
Crews from the Eau Claire and Parker City volunteer fire departments, as well as medics from the Emlenton and Petrolia ambulance services, walked and took quads through the tough terrain.
At one point, sources say crews had to use a wench to lift the woman up several hills. She was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital. Her condition is unknown.
Authorities say the child was not seriously hurt but was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
