The American Red Cross will be teaming up with Butler Township District 3 volunteer firefighters on Saturday for a fire safety campaign.
The event will run from 9am to Noon, as fire safety information will be distributed to the Highfield, Home-Acre, and Lyndora areas of Butler Township. Included in the information will be instructions on how to obtain a free smoke alarm.
Red Cross Staff members will also visit select neighborhoods to pass on this information. They will be joined by other volunteers and local firefighters.
