At least eight fire departments worked together Thursday to put out a house fire in Center Township.
The fire started at a home on West Sunbury Road (Route 308) about 6 p.m.
The homeowners- who have reportedly lived there for 65 years- were able to escape unharmed. Before the home was a house, it was a schoolhouse.
A fire marshal is investigating the cause. It’s believed the fire started in the rear of the home.
