A couple of Pennsylvania agencies are receiving federal funding to expand a program that offers access to transportation.
Governor Tom Wolf recently announced that a $750,000 grant from the Federal Transit Administration will be used to fund the Find My Ride online tool first introduced one year ago.
Find My Ride, also known as FMR Apply, is a joint effort of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Department of Human Services to streamline the process for transportation assistance.
The new funds will help with expanding upgrades for public access to this tool as well as improve the process for administrators and health care providers. Visit the FMR Apply website for more information.
