The Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities has released a list of recommendations for residents to become more financially secure and independent in the New Year.
These important resolutions include keeping money safe in an insured bank or credit union, learning the difference between credit and debit cards, investigating before investing, and changing account passwords.
Other recommendations deal with avoiding easy money loans, protecting loved ones from fraud, protecting yourself from identity theft, and learning more about check cashing practices.
