Today marks 16 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Ground was broken Sunday on the final phase of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
A 93-foot tower will be built near the park’s entrance featuring 40 wind chimes, one for each of the 33 passengers and seven crew members who died.
Vice President Mike Pence is expected to attend Monday’s ceremony in Shanksville.
