Federal regulators have authorized a second booster shot of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccine for those above the age of 50.
In order to be eligible to get your second booster shot, it must have been four months since the first booster.
The FDA also says that if you are over 12 years old and immunocompromised, you are also eligible for a second booster shot.
The Butler Health System’s vaccine clinic at the Crossroads Campus is open on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcomed according to hospital officials.
