The Pittsburgh Division of the FBI is asking for help finding the person responsible for a Cranberry Township bank robbery yesterday.
According to a press release, an unidentified man robbed the First Niagra Bank on Route 19 around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The robber used a gun to demand money from bank employees. He was given an undisclosed amount and left through the front door. He was last seen walking behind the Giant Eagle.
The man is described as a white male about five feet nine inches tall, around 30 years old, with a stocky build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey sweatpants, a blue billed baseball hat, sunglasses, gloves, a red plaid scarf, and boots. The man carried a black, draw-stringed bag with a logo on it.
A reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the man responsible. Anyone with information can remain anonymous but should contact the FBI at 412-432-4000.
