The FBI and the Chippewa Township Police Department are asking for help finding the person responsible for robbing a Beaver Falls bank.
According to the FBI press release, an unknown male entered the Citizens Bank on Constitution Boulevard shortly before 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 11th.
The man indicated that he had a bomb while holding a black umbrella and demanded money from the tellers. The tellers gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money and he left through the front door. The man was last seen crossing Darlington Road in the direction of the Chippewa United Methodist Church.
The man is described as white, about five feet five inches, with a thin build, and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, large sunglasses, a dark scarf, gloves, jeans, a green and white ballcap with the Eckrich logo.
A reward will be offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone who knows anything about this robbery is asked to contact the Pittsburgh Field Office of the FBI at 412-432-4000. Callers can remain anonymous.
