The Pittsburgh Division of the FBI is asking for help finding the person responsible for an Allegheny County bank robbery earlier this morning.
According to a press release, an unidentified man robbed the First National Bank on Greenfield Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The robber gave the teller a note demanding money and was given an undisclosed amount which he put into a blue plastic bag. He then left walking south on Greenfield. The man is described as a white male about five feet nine inches tall, in his late 50s, with a medium build, a plaid jacket, flat cap, sunglasses, hooded shirt and dark gloves.
A reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the man responsible. Anyone with information can remain anonymous but should contact the FBI at 412-432-4000.
