Police are asking for help identifying and finding a man thought to be responsible for a couple of bank robberies in Allegheny County.
According to the Pittsburgh Division of the FBI, as well as Allegheny County Police, someone robbed the Dollar Bank on Clairton Boulevard in Pleasant Hills on Friday (7/10) around 2:45 p.m. The same person is thought to have also robbed the First National Bank on Lebanon Church Road in West Mifflin Tuesday (7/14) around 11:45 a.m.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 5 foot 9 and 5 foot 11, with a heavy build. He was wearing a light gray t-shirt with a black t-shirt undernealth; gray baseball camp with the letter “B;” and dark pants when he robbed the West Mifflin bank, police said. He has a light mustache and goatee. No weapon was seen in either robbery.
